Romuald Loegler, an architect active in this profession both as a designer and a teacher, is also the publisher of Architektura & Biznes monthly magazine.
He is a member of the Saxon Academy of Arts (Sächsische Akademie der Künste) and the winner of numerous competitions in Poland and abroad, including a number of prestigious public use buildings, such as the Jagiellonian University Library in Krakow, the Philharmonic Hall in Łódź, the Opera House in Krakow, or the Nordbahnhof in Berlin.
His built projects include facilities designed for institutions of higher education, secondary schools, banks, as well as commercial and residential buildings.
His work has been published in various Polish and foreign professional magazines and books, such as The World Atlas of Architecture, The Encyclopaedia of European Architecture (Paris), The List of the World’s Architects (Japan), Domus, Bauwelt, Arkitektiilehti, Deutsches Architektenblatt, Architektura & Biznes, to name but a few.
Romuald Loegler has participated in a variety of individual and collective exhibitions and has been conferred a number of prestigious awards, both for his lifetime achievement and specific projects, among these the Honorary Award of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), Fritz Schumacher Prize, Polish Infrastructure Minister’s Award for outstanding achievement, and several awards for best built projects.
